Dreaming, Thinking, Praying, Asking, and Doing!!

Lord knows I feel as though there is a calling on my Life!! God is truly showing up in my life and He is showing out. Man, man, man I can remember days I felt like my life was over. I can remember the many times I wanted to kill myself, and the time I actually tried.  I am so glad I am not in that dark place anymore. After asking the LORD to polite my life, I moved to the Atlanta area. Here I learned a lot about myself. I discovered my weaknesses and my strengths. And it wasn't easy!! But I'm still here and it feels good!! I am thankful.

The Definition of Success and "Yeen even know it".

Today has been one of those days. It stormed last night, started off slow this morning, and became even more relaxed by the evening. I'm really learning to love life. Man I've been through a lot in MY life. I'm sure there are some people out there who have gone through and are going through worse. But because this is My LIFE, my struggles didn't beat you up they beat me up, so you will never really know how felt or how I'm feeling. But you know what, I can honestly say I got my life, because I have faith in GOD......

How are you? I pray that all is well. As for me and the girls, GOD is truly good to us. A place to stay, food to eat, and clothes on our backs. If He doesn't give me anything else, I am truly blessed!! So I can't complain. 

LIFE is giving me all that I am asking for and more.

Since you've been gone, I've been holding it down. I am very proud of myself for several reasons, but here are just a few of them.

A Fresh Start!!

Helllllo!!! I have been away for a while, but definitely not idle. I have launched the online boutique and I'm proud of myself. But anyway, I want show you all who I really am and share with you all one of the many major things in my life that I've done. Some of you may know that I have been natural for 8 years, and I never did the big chop. My hair started growing like a wild flower in 2005. I then started cutting on it myself, (that's how the old folks say it), and any hair stylist will tell you, "NEVER cut your own hair." So the end results were horrific. When I was pregnant with Carlie my hair grew out a lot; her dad and Mckenzie begged me not to put weave in it, but I did a quick weave with glue anyway for ASU homecoming, and that was all she wrote. DAMAGED!!!

My last blog signed as The Serial Thinker!!!

Well well well, this is going to be my last post signed as the Serial Thinker. When I initially started blogging I chose "Thoughts of a Serial Thinker" as it related to my life. I was and I am always thinking about something big. Often times my thoughts are bigger than me, so when I started this blog I figured I'd name it according to who I was and I am. Yes, I still continue to think non-stop. Don't we all.. 

What matters is what you're thinking about, not how much you're thinking. 

Will You Marry Me?

"Will you marry me?" Now that is a question that most of us ladies hope to hear one day.  I am anticipating being a wonderful wife; a treasure to the man that marries me. I dream I will be a beautiful bride and possibly appear on a reality show like "Say Yes to the Dress" and have David Tutera take all the stress away by planning the perfect fairy tale wedding.  (I am a such a hopeless romantic.)

I am honored to be a part of the media team for this event. I'm going to be getting my blogging on, while putting together ideas for my future wedding.
